Tom is an expert in Building Physics and Construction. He presented his research at conferences from Seattle to Kyoto, which was awarded the “most significant contribution to the art and science of building services engineering” by CIBSE Technical Symposium. Happiest chilling to an eclectic assortment of music with a bottle of wine.

John Burley

Chief Technology Officer

John delights in leading sustainable high-performance teams, like the one you see here! He has launched and operated satellites, brought robotics to hospitals worldwide, and helped clean-tech startups with their strategy. He loves to race rowing boats and unwinds to ambient music.

Charlotte Napier

Head of HR

Charlotte has a CBT background, she is focused on creating supportive, people-centric workplaces. She has a passion for exploring new perspectives, when outside of work this is often through the lense of a camera.

Dayna Kivell

Head of Robot Operations

Dayna is a passionate and innovative engineer, known for her creative problem-solving rooted in Kiwi ingenuity. On weekends, she is either guarding the goal as the keeper for Tooting Bec Reserves or rocking out on the drums.

Chris Hamblin

Head of Robotic Development

Chris loves being able to quickly prototype great ideas and finding innovative ways to solve difficult real-world problems. He is also a cold shower convert – try it!

Maddy Clifford

Head of Product

Maddy loves seeing the impact of our work, improving lives and reducing carbon emissions. Outside of work, she enjoys exploring green spaces with her family.

Siri Cooke

Financial Controller

Siri is detail-oriented and action-driven at work. Off the clock, she dives into crime novels and South Korean dramas. Balancing work with a bit of suspense and drama.

Business Performance Analyst

Ben excels at turning key facts and stats into insightful narratives that drive business growth. He’s passionate about using data to highlight both strengths and areas for improvement. Outside of work, Ben is an avid fan of Formula 1 and football.

Elodie loves customer discovery, translating insights into actionable requirements that drive innovative solutions. She also has a knack for rapidly visualizing concepts and bringing ideas to life.

Jad likes to solve problems and work with easy on the eye designs, as they say “a user interface is like a joke. If you have to explain it, it’s not that good.”

Bethany Dillon

Software Engineer

Beth enjoys developing scalable cloud-based solutions using AWS, and using her troubleshooting skills to resolve issues in real-time. In her spare time she enjoys hiking and camping.

Oliver Hill

Senior Software Engineer

Oliver is responsible for the software that runs on and supports our robotic fleet. He is passionate about solving complex problems, and making a real difference to the lives of our customers. During the summer he plays cricket, and during the winter he watches it.

Richard Pickler

Robot Software Engineer

Originally from Kansas, and with a background in visual effects, with credits on films like Jungle Book and Man of Steel, Richard is passionate about learning new technologies and enjoys cycling, photography, and teaching his daughter new skills.

Tom is passionate about creating innovative solutions that simplify users’ lives, from early-stage prototyping to destructive testing and field trials.

Matt Aitchison

Robot Production Manager

Matt oversees both in-house and outsourced robot production, as well as managing spares inventory and assisting with servicing and upgrades. He’s a firm believer that flip-flops and Marmite are the work of the devil.

Sophia loves solving technical problems and streamlining messy processes. Turning chaos into calm is her thing—whether it’s with high-tech robots or keeping Fred, her narrow-boat, afloat.

Paul likes to be hands on working with the robots doesn’t mind getting his hand dirty! With a passion for cars and engines his experience outside of work has helped him excel in his professional field.
